The opportunity 

Kingfisher Bay Resort is looking for an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to play a pivotal role in instilling the smooth operation of our service department. You will support the Duty Manager in delivering supervision, induction and training programs to team members and understand the importance providing exceptional guest service.

This a permanent full-time opportunity for someone looking to relocate to the island and move into the staff village.

 

About You

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualities and qualifications:

  • proven team leadership skills with experience providing supervision, induction and training.
  • have hands-on experience across restaurant and bar service within a fast-paced environment.
  • have demonstrated experience working across al-la-carte, buffet or high-volume weddings/events.
  • bring exceptional service standards and a passion for quality hospitality.
  • Motivated to drive others to achieve team KPI's

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • minimum one year experience in a Food and Beverage supervisory/team leader role 
  • Preferably experience working within a hotel/resort 
  • Valid Queensland RSA certificate
  • Demonstrated barista, wine, and cocktail experience
  • Valid Food Handling Certificate (highly regarded)
  • Hold the right to live and work in Australia.
