About Our Client

A rapidly rising juggernaut in the cosmetics, personal care, health & wellness industries. This organisation is currently experiencing huge global growth, through the acquisition of multiple brands.

Job Description

Strategy:

  • Lead the development and execution of the company's NPD strategy, driving continuous innovation and differentiation in the cosmetics and personal care market.
  • Foster a culture of creativity and collaboration within the NPD team, inspiring cross-functional synergy and idea generation.

Procurement:

  • Establish strong relationships with OEM suppliers, collaborating closely to leverage their expertise and capabilities in bringing new products to life.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to source raw materials, packaging components, and manufacturing services, ensuring cost-effective and timely product development

Project Management:

  • Define project time lines, milestones, and deliverable, coordinating activities across internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project challenges, making data-driven decisions to keep projects on track and within budget.

Compliance & Quality:

  • Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements and quality standards for cosmetics and personal care products, collaborating with regulatory affairs and quality assurance teams.
  • Implement rigorous testing and validation processes to maintain product safety, efficacy, and integrity throughout the development process.

The Successful Applicant

You will be commercially astute with great relationships skills and a strong knowledge of Cosmetic / personal care OEMs to be able to work at a fast pace.

We will also assess you for the following:

  • Experience in new product development within the cosmetics and personal care industry, with a strong track record of successful product launches.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with OEM suppliers and procurement teams to bring products to market on time and within budget.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage resources effectively, and drive cross-functional teams towards common goals.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards for cosmetics and personal care products, including FDA, EU, and other relevant regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence in product innovation.

Due to the nature of the business currently, there is no hybrid working available. There is some flexibility but please note, you will be required in the office 5 days per week.
