Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking Theatre Assistants to join our Theatre team. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and achieving high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction, in this faced paced and varied environment.
As a Theatre Assistant your responsibilities will include:
· Delivering excellent service and care to patients
· Maintain and clean theatre equipment
· Assist in patient transportation to and from the Theatre complex
· Liaise within a multi-disciplinary team
· Ensuring patient and staff safety
· Sound knowledge of theatre equipment and safe use practices
· Proven troubleshooting skills
· Process organisational skills and complete documentation to a high standard
Essential Criteria:
· Authority to Work in Australia
· Prior experience in a hospital environment (desirable)
· Prior experience as a Theatre Assistant or Wardsman (desirable)
· Flexibility to work a range of shifts
· Working with Children check
· Commitment to Quality Patient Care
· Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Works well independently and within a team
