About the role
Are you an experienced CSSD Technician who is self-motivated and enthusiastic?
We are currently seeking experienced CSSD Technicians to join our dynamic perioperative team on a Full-time basis. You'll work on a rotating roster with shifts across the breadth of a 7 day week

Key responsibilities will include:
· Thermal disinfection inspection, packaging and sterilising of all instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areas
· Comply with AS/NZ standards 5369:2023, GENCA
· Operate interpret and document all machinery operational requirements
· Report and document all quality activities
· Ensure priority of instrumentation and processes
Essential Criteria:
· A Minimum of 2 years' experience as CSSD technician in an acute hospital setting is required
· Sound knowledge of AS/NZ 4187 2014
· Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation
· Experience with tracking systems
· Endoscopy reprocessing experience or willingness to learn
· Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
· Intermediate computer literacy skills - including MS office and various data bases and interest in promoting best practice patient care
