Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking experienced Environmental Services Assistant's to join our team on a Fulltime, Part-time or casual basis
In this fast paced and varied environment you will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
This role will see you involved in a variety of housekeeping related tasks however there is also the opportunity to work in the Food services department.
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
· Provide high standard of cleaning services
· Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures
· Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
· Act in accordance with all manual handling protocols
· Assisting the production teams to ensure patient satisfaction is achieved at all times;
· Demonstrate professional practice by working according to Healthscope's policies and processes, code of conduct and by participating in yearly performance appraisals and mandatory education. Maintain skills and standards of customer service and ensure patient confidentiality and privacy are maintained at all times.
· Supports Healthscope's safety and quality improvement in all aspects of safety including Work Health & Safety
Essential Criteria:
· Proven previous Environmental services or Housekeeping experience in Healthcare, Aged care, Hotels, or similar
· Hold a valid NSW Working with Children check
· Commitment to service excellence.
· Proven time management skills and ability to manage priorities
· Strong communication and customer skills
· Attention to detail
· Work well independently and within a team
· Available for on call shifts including weekends
