The role:

*Finance Manager title – however, this is a project commercial manager role, suitable for commercial managers with exposure to project cost management*

The company:
This is a great opportunity to join a large private company owned by long-term investors that operates in the utilities sector, with close ties to energy and infrastructure.

The role:
The company is expanding its operations and looking for a Finance Manager to lead the project from a commercial lens. This will involve overseeing insurance, tax, financing and cost control. Strong financial modelling skills, high attention to detail and a passion for quality compliance will be important skills to have.

The opportunity:
This is a unique opportunity to manage staff and work directly with key stakeholders/functional leaders in the business. You will get exposure to work with the CFO and CEO of the business and be seen as the point-of-contact and finance owner of their growth program.

Your manager is passionate about developing talent, and will allow you the space to shine and provide mentorship to support with your career growth.
If you have an interest in capital markets, asset structuring for tax purposes and financing, this role will help you enhance your knowledge and expertise in these areas.

You will join a small team with a family feel to it, and a company that supports flexible working.

Salary range is $180k-$210k + super + bonus, tied to performance KPIs. This is a 12 month contract role, with possibility of permanent for the right candidate.

Your background:
If you come from a Commercial finance background, with experience in utilities, energy or infrastructure and exposure to project cost management, please apply.

CA/CPA qualified, with a keen interest to expand knowledge and skills. High attention to detail, who takes pride in owning deliverables E2E and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and “get things done”.
