Client Details

This huge global brand business are in the market for a new Payroll Operations Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a very exciting opportunity for someone with exceptional SAP knowledge as well as experience with leading a large team and systems/process improvements.

Although this business has really good SOPs and processes in place, it will be your responsibility to ensure they are consistently kept up to date. This is a hands off role, you will have a large team underneath you to coordinate the day to day, BAU processing. 

You will report into the CFO and work very closely with HR to ensure all compliance and legislation is adhered to. This is an executive level opportunity.

Description 

  • Understanding their complex set of industrial instruments, so the Payroll Operations Manager has a key role to play as an advisor on all matters associated with ensuring their payments are compliant to underpinning Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Ensuring the business fulfils its statutory obligations with regard to the accurate and timely payment of taxation, superannuation and any attachment of earnings orders is also critical.
  • Lastly, the role is accountable for leading a team of payroll and time and attendance experts so that they are able to do their best work, in a supportive environment that meets all the expectations of our internal customers and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain and, through a focus on continuous improvement to increase accuracy and efficiency, update all process documentation.
  • Work with the IT team to ensure our payroll systems are up-to-date, robust, and secure
  • Work with IT to simplify and continuously improve our systems

This is not a hands on role. This role would suit an experienced leader who is focused more around leadership and SAP systems.

Profile

You will need to have strong SAP experience. Also, it is important you have experience with leadership of a medium to large sized payroll team. 

Job Offer

In return you will receive $160k - $180k + Super - this is negotiable for the right candidate. 

They are based in the North Ryde area and you will be expected to be in office at least 3x per week minimum.
