The Role

An exciting new opportunity has become available within the Mainfreight Wharf Melbourne team in the role of Business Development Executive. A focus on cold calling, first time new business meetings and overall activity levels to effectively manage and build a successful prospective pipeline An individual new business target to achieve Be a part of an energetic and rapidly growing team Developing customer end-to-end supply chain solutions Responsibility for reporting and overseeing customer KPI’s Spend your first 3-6 months gaining “hands on” experience. You will receive support whilst learning the business from the ground up, which includes, operations, administration, and customer service

Skills & Attributes 

Previous sales experience or a willingness to learn An absolute desire to delight customers and a genuine ‘Can Do’ attitude Promotable, self-motivated, driven and strong desire to develop and succeed Strong written & verbal communication skills Ability to build and strengthen professional relationships quickly Have an aptitude for self-learning and taking initiative towards own professional development Immaculate presentation Understanding and confidence to execute consultative sales approach
