We’re hiring for a Management Accountant, who’ll be based at our 40-hectare primary processing site in Cannon Hill.
  
The Role

Reporting to our FP&A Manager, the role is responsible for the production of accurate and timely management accounts, budgets and analysis for the Cannon Hill operations. The position will work closely with leaders to provide financial insight critical to decision-making.

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and weekly estimate for the division
  • Ensure accuracy of information presented and provide explanations of results
  • Critically analyse monthly results to identify any issues
  • Provide details of significant actual to budget variances to Managers monthly
  • Analyse operational metrics to assist managers in understanding and improving business performance
  • Work with Production Managers to maintain and improve systems for performance monitoring.
  • Identify and implement initiatives to achieve alignment, standardisation and excellence in reporting and analysis
  • Develop reporting tools based on both financial and non-financial information for users across the business. These may be built in, but not limited to Excel, Power BI, Oracle Business Reporting
  • Develop and implement cost effective financial policies and procedures.

The Person

  • Advanced skills across the full Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel modelling. ERP (Oracle) and reporting suite (Power BI) experience advantageous
