Our client has engaged with us exclusively to source an experienced and proactive Recruitment Manager to take charge of their recruitment processes and strategies. The Recruitment Manager will work closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop innovative sourcing strategies, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. This is a hands-on role, responsible for end-to-end recruitment, including job advertisement drafting, phone screening, interviews, offer management, and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

Workforce Planning and Business Needs:

  • Work with the P&C Manager and hiring managers to assess business needs and ensure approvals for new roles.
  • Use data insights to predict recruitment needs and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure new roles are validated through appropriate benchmarking and evaluation frameworks.

Sourcing and Talent Pipelines:

  • Create and post job adverts, supporting hiring managers in developing clear position descriptions.
  • Utilize various sourcing channels, including social media, job boards, and networking, to build a diverse talent pool.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with professional organizations, industry networks, and third-party providers.

Selection Process Management:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to determine the best selection processes, including assessments and interviews.
  • Conduct candidate shortlisting, phone screenings, and participate in interviews.
  • Clearly represent the client’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to prospective candidates.

Candidate Experience:

  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience through effective communication, timely feedback, and a smooth interview process.
  • Implement strategies to boost candidate engagement and satisfaction.
  • Provide timely feedback to all applicants, including those who are unsuccessful.

Collaboration with Hiring Managers:

  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and develop tailored job descriptions and adverts.
  • Offer training and support on best practices for interviewing and evaluating candidates.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Track and analyse recruitment metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Use tools like Culture Amp to assess both candidate and new hire experiences.
  • Prepare regular reports on recruitment progress, challenges, and opportunities for senior management.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR.
  • Demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and recruitment compliance.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or HR are preferred.
