About the role:

BKI is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Vocational English Teacher to join our fantastic team at the Broadmeadows Campus. The key responsibility of this role is to deliver quality vocational education and training and conduct competency-based assessments in a range of settings including classroom and online environments. As this is a sessional role, it is fully flexible to work around your current lifestyle.

You will be contributing to design, facilitation and evaluation of high-quality Teaching and Learning programs as well as design and development of assessment tools. You will get a chance to work in a team-oriented environment that is focused to deliver quality outcomes to students.

We are excited about you because you have:

  • MUST have: A three-year undergraduate degree or higher and a post-graduate or higher Teacher of English as a Second Language (TESOL) qualification or equivalent OR
  • A recognised university undergraduate degree or higher in education or equivalent with a TESOL major
  • Current Industry Experience
  • Currently studying (enrolled and actively working towards completing TAE within two years) OR  have a completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110) including Design & Develop Assessment tools (TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B) and address Adult language, literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills (TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A)
