**Position Overview**

As an Engineering Teacher at BKI, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality vocational education and training in engineering disciplines. You will inspire and educate the next generation of engineers, ensuring they are well-prepared for industry demands.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct competency-based assessments in classroom, workplace, and online environments
- Develop innovative teaching resources and flexible learning strategies
- Maintain industry currency and vocational competence in engineering
- Comply with VET quality standards and relevant legislation
- Contribute to program evaluation and improvement initiatives

**Required Qualifications**
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110)
- Vocational qualifications Engineering/ Mechanical trade qualification (essential)
- A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver
- Relevant engineering qualifications at least to the level to be delivered and assessed

**Skills and Experience**
- Proven experience in the engineering industry
- Strong understanding of current engineering practices and technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of learners
- Commitment to continuous professional development
