**About the role**:
BKI is seeking a **Teacher - Animal Studies **to join our Food & Fibre (F&F) team at Broadmeadows. The key responsibility of this role is to deliver quality vocational education and training and conduct competency-based assessment for our various qualifications of Certificate II in Animal Care, Certificate III in Animal Care Services, Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and Certificate IV in Behaviour and Training in a range of settings including classroom, workplace, and online environments.

- A Degree, Diploma or Certificate relevant to the academic level and industry experience relevant to the Animal Care and management Industry.
- At least 5 years of industry experience
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or (TAE40110) including Design & Develop Assessment tools (TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B) and address Adult language, literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills (TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A).
- Relevant vocational qualification and/or competencies at least to the level to be delivered and assessed
