About the Opportunity
Securecorp is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Full Time Control Room Operator.
We have vacancies across Melbourne, Broadmeadows and Parkville.
The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Monitor, operate and review CCTV system.
- Communicate and liaise with emergency services and associated internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintaining and writing accurate security incident reports, data logs, emergency response activities and visitor logs.
- Critically assess and respond to situations of risk adeptly and in line with standard operating procedures.
- Operate a two way radio communication network for security personal and manage the deployment of security personnel.
- Access control to personnel, employees and visitors.
- Take part in ongoing training programs and exercises.
Key Selection Criteria:
We’re looking for candidates who:
- Have strong administrative skills, computer competency and excellent email etiquette.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced team environment and experience with Fire-Panels – Desirable.
- Knowledge across any of the following or similar software: Gallagher, Avigilon, Genetec, Ascom, and Passagepoint - Highly regarded.
- Hold a current Security Licence with a Control Room endorsement.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Valid Driver’s licence with transport.
- Can work collaboratively in a team or independently.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential.

Roster
0630-1830 and, 1830-0630 averaging 84 hours per pay fortnight.
* Weeks 1&3 Wednesday/ Thursday/ Friday.
* Weeks 2&4 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday/ Sunday.
