Our Resource and Industrials team is seeking an established Business Development Manager to grow our Mining, Oil & Gas team in the north west Pilbara region. This role will both farm and develop existing accounts, as well as develop a pipeline of new business prospects, relying on networking and established relationships.

Utilise contemporary sales technology and a strong selling proposition to land big deals, and chase after tier one mining, oil and gas customers with a solutions focuses mindset.

Some of your duties could include:

  • Identify new business opportunities locally for Toll Global Logistics.

  • Develop sales plans for customers and ensure customer relationships are developed and maintained.

  • Manage and develop business development pipelines and monitor conversion rate of new business.

  • Devising effective sales strategies using research on market trends/conditions and competitor activity.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in heavy industries, with a focus on sales and business development.

  • Effective negotiation, influencing and organisational skills with ability to multi-task and plan your day effectively

  • A high level of communication and interpersonal skills together with a good working knowledge of Microsoft systems (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

  • A genuine passion for creating solutions and building relationships

  • Ability to work under pressure, with a sense of urgency, in a fast-paced environment
