What will your typical day look like?

Working with our central Operate leadership as well as Business Unit and CI&M to drive the Operate strategy across Asia Pacific (AP). Engaging with clients and client-facing teams to solution unique proposition to solve client problems. Defining and outlining market relevant thought leadership and points of views and supporting sales and origination.

The Operate Consultant is a critical role in establishing and connecting a new AP-wide team to deliver against our Operate strategy and transformation. The role will help to build capability across the regions and support deliverables associate with client engagements.

The successful candidate will drive a range of initiatives under the Operate strategy that focus on the following areas:

  • Strategic thought leadership
  • Sales pursuit enablement & process transformation
  • Support bid and contract management
  • Connecting, integration & collaboration
  • Capability and enablement

This role is a rare opportunity to drive the Operate strategy for the AP region, working in the most innovative professional services firm and working closely with the Operate Managers and Directors in delivery on the firm’s strategy. The Operate portfolio is varied, and the candidate will work closely with some of Deloitte’s most senior leaders. The role will also interact with other firm functions including the various business units, Operate Lead partners, Business Development and Talent.

Deloitte has established an Operate Centre of Excellence for the Asia Pacific region, primarily led from Australia. The COE aim is to deliver top-tier Operate capability support, catering not only to Australia but also to other markets across the region

The successful candidate will have some experience in a similar strategy execution role and demonstrate the ability to:

  • Input into thought leadership on the AP Operate strategy by supporting the team with establishing the infrastructure, resources, and systems, KPIs and best practices to truly unify the program into a single strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with Managers and Directors to develop, establish, and direct Global Delivery Network and industry strategies, programs, and best practices to enable customer value.
  • Support the pursuit teams with bid & pipeline development.
  • Strengthens the relationships with Australian and AP community, ensuring a positive experience in all aspects of the relationship.
  • Ability to travel within Asia Pacific region as per client requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong communications skills and have the ability to work across different time zones within Asia Pacific region.
