Council is currently delivering on key organisational wide asset management and asset data and information transformational projects that will improve our maturity, capability, efficiency and functionality. This role will collaborate closely with key asset management, information technology and communications team members and be pivotal in achieving the establishment of strong asset data and information governance practices, enhancing our ways of working and supporting culture change.
Reporting to the Team Lead (Spatial and Asset Data), key skills for success in the role include:

About you
To succeed in this role you will:
Demonstrate substantial experience working with GIS software (e.g., Esri Enterprise, Esri ArcGIS, QGIS) and databases Demonstrate substantial experience in managing and maintaining asset and/or spatial (GIS) data schema and specifications Have experience in establishing data quality standards for GIS datasets and monitor data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Have experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to promote GIS awareness and usage Have experience in data modelling, geodatabases, cartography and spatial analysis Preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Data Science, or Information Technology Have belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadershipAbout the benefits
This is a permanent full time position at Level 6 with a commencing salary of $100,533 plus superannuation of up to 12.5% and annual leave loading.
