**About the role**
As Technical Officer (Stormwater Quality Assets), you will be part of the Works Engineering team and assist in ensuring the maintenance of Council’s Stormwater Quality Assets are carried out appropriately and to standard. Your main focus will be on auditing, coordinating and implementing maintenance of stormwater quality assets as well as assisting in the review of designs of stormwater quality treatment devices.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Audit the work being undertaken for stormwater quality maintenance across the city
- Assist in the preparation of working plans and maps for all stormwater quality asset areas to be maintained
- Requisition equipment and materials as required
- Assist in the preparation of preliminary and or detailed concepts, technical specifications, and maintenance cost estimates in relation to stormwater quality treatment devices
- Manage internal and external stakeholder’s expectations while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience in Natural Resource Management, Environment Management, Hydrology Management, Civil Engineering or similar
- Current Queensland C Class Queensland driver’s licence
- Experience in dealing with stormwater quality assets
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks

**About the benefits**
This is a fixed term position until 30 June 2025, with a salary commencing at $97,827 (pro rata) plus 12.5% superannuation.
