Your responsibilities will include:

The Tactical Air Defence Radar System (TADRS) is a deployable tactical air defence radar that enables air surveillance, command and control functions in support of military and humanitarian missions.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the TADRS team in Williamtown, NSW. The position of Systems Engineer will be an integral member of Lockheed Martin’s project engineering team.

Primary responsibilities:
The System Engineer will support and/or lead system engineering taskings for each program managed at the site through participation in program IPTs.
 

About you:

Essential

  • Proven experience in successfully performing Systems Engineering activities, with superior communication skills a strong analytical mind, and ability will thrive in a fast paced environment.
  • Significant background in Systems/Subsystems engineering program and/or proposal delivery (or a specialist domain).
  • Specialist knowledge in areas such as; Requirements management, Systems Architecture; Model Based Engineering; An area of Specialty Engineering; and Verification and Validation.
  • Significant knowledge of Configuration Management and baselining of engineering artifacts.
  • Excellent understanding of System Safety and its significance in Complex Systems.

Desirable

  • NV1 CoA Security clearance.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Systems Engineering) from a recognised institution, and/or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in Agile development application and or Test Automation approaches.

Special Requirements:

Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
