About the Role

We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join our team at Boeing Defence Australia. As a key member of our E-7 Programs business, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering complex engineering solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply Systems Engineering principles to support the development of complex engineering solutions, including requirements definition, integration, verification, and validation.
  • Support the successful completion of systems integration tasks and manage technical risk.
  • Coordinate with other design and specialty disciplines to ensure that your team's products are properly integrated into the solution and delivered in a way that meets the customer's needs.
  • Work with the broader project team to ensure the engineering scope is delivered within the quality, schedule, and budgetary constraints of the project.
  • Collaborate across Boeing and industry to align BDA work methods with best practice.
  • Grow and develop junior team members through mentoring.
  • Communicate and collaborate with a diverse team in a conscientious and inclusive manner.
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree qualification in an engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Understanding of Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle management with experience in Systems Engineering and/or systems integration in a complex project environment.
  • Experience in delivering/integrating systems within Defence project environments is desirable.
  • Experience in applying Model Based Systems Engineering, including the use of digital systems engineering tools, will be highly regarded.
