Details

: The ACT Emergency Services Agency (ESA) is seeking applications from highly motivated, experienced, and suitable individuals to fill the position of Senior Director, ESA Critical Projects.

As the Senior Director, you will provide strategic oversight of a number of key critical projects encompassing ICT, facilities as well as building lease negotiations plus the establishment of the ESA/JCCS ICT business model. You will be the central coordinator for the projects and prioritise work to ensure deadlines are met. This role is also required to design and define project requirements through accurately establishing service user expectations and analysing internal and external stakeholder interests.

You will also be comfortable in preparation of high level, detailed quality briefings, communications and project progress reports. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, ACT Government and JACS Directorate policy frameworks.

Please note : This role will be based in both the ESA Headquarters, Fairbairn Precinctaa and in 220 London Circuit, Canberra City

Eligibility/ Other Requirements

Extensive experience in a project, program, or coordination role at a senior level in a public service environment is highly desirable. Driver’s licence ‘Class C’ is essential. This position requires a police check. This position doesn’t require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.

Notes: This is a temporary position available for up to 12 months.

Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
