About The Company

They also leverage projects completed by the construction arm to secure and deliver maintenance contracts successfully.

The Role

You will be reporting to the National General Manager for Service who is based in Sydney. The Service Manager will oversee all business operations in Adelaide, with a primary focus on contract management. The role will also involve managing and coordinating service technicians, as well as recruiting and developing staff. Working closely with the interstate head office, you will collaborate on tenders and bids for new business opportunities and oversee their successful delivery.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

  • Business development with GM
  • Estimation
  • Document Control
  • Personnel control and scheduling
  • Programming
  • Liaise with clients, office, and service technicians
  • Attend meetings and office meetings
  • General Correspondence
  • Timesheet processing
  • Invoice/delivery processing
  • Contract Implementation

Experience/Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar position, ideally within a hydraulic commercial plumbing business. Candidates with relevant experience in building services sectors such as HVAC, BMS, fire, or electrical contracting are also encouraged to apply.
  • Experience managing accounts with building owners and FM clients in Adelaide and regional SA.
  • P&L management experience.
  • Proficiency in bidding and tendering for service contracts.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt as the business expands.
  • Supervisory/Management Skills
  • Ability to contribute in a team environment
  • Effective time management skills
  • Self-motivated, self-sufficient and proactive
