The Opportunity

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is currently looking for a proactive and self-motivated Software Test Engineer. Working within Mission Systems, you will be part of the team that enhance and sustain operational software on the Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning and Control platform and its variants.

Responsibilities

  • Perform software testing in representative lab environments to support verification activities, feature development, bug fixes and certification.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance software testing plans, processes and tools to improve efficiency and quality of our software development lifecycle and products.
  • Contribute to plan, conduct and report software test activities each sprint and program increment
  • Maintain the quality of our products. Supporting developers and team members with good practice

Experience/Qualifications

  • We'd love if you have prior experience in software testing or systems engineering where you gained knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and execution concepts.
  • You'll be working on products for the RAAF, so defence industry experience is a big bonus.
  • The ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse team, in a conscientious and inclusive way is valued by our team.
