About the role
Our team at Brisbane Private Hospital are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Grade 2, to join our Day Surgery Team on a full time basis as a Theatre Bookings Team Leader.
This position is responsible for the booking of elective and emergency surgical and medical patients into Brisbane Private Hospital. The Theatre Bookings Team Leader will work in close liaison with Visiting Medical Officers and the Hospital Coordinator / Bed Manager to capture bed availability, and liaise with the Theatre Manager to ensure full theatre list utilisation and plan additional emergency theatre lists wherever possible.

Essential Criteria:
- Nursing registration with AHPRA
- Experience working as a Registered or Clinical Nurse within in a day surgery/acute care setting
- Periop and bookings experience (desirable)
- Prior leadership experience (Desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality patient care
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
