ABOUT THE ROLE:

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join this amazing company and start their career journey as they look to grow the company beyond this primary venue.

The Venue has been through a multi-million dollar refurb from the ground up and is already a firm favourite amongst locals. Offering dynamic dining options the venue is stunning and the kitchen has been designed by masters of the trade. The menu is driven by quality, first and foremost, with seasonal produce and the best quality meats and seafood being cooked on the Josper wood fired grilled and oven.

Management are from some of the best dining venues in Sydney and this is reflected in how they operate as a team. With a solid team, qaulity driven menu and a focus on excellence this is a venue and company you can be sure to progress your career with.

The role:

  • Join a team of industry professionals focused on delivering excellence. Drive, support and train the junior members of the brigade from apprenctice to cdp.
  • Manage and maintain multiple sections within the kitchen to deliver quality from prep through to service.
  • Support and liaise with senior managers in kitchen operations from stock takes, section ordering and menu/dish development.
  • Work collaboratively within the team to deliver quality and quantity through busy services.

About you:

  • Experience as a Junior Sous Chef, in quality driven venues, hatted/michelin preferable.
  • Proven experience on all sections of the kitchen.
  • Excellent communicator and able to manage a small team on multiple sections.
  • Genuine passion for culinary excellence and a desire to grow within a dynamic company.
