Your new opportunity:

As our Heavy Vehicle Trainer, you'll work with world class products and leading-edge technology while focusing on delivering impactful training for Penske's Heavy Vehicle product range across Australia and New Zealand. This role offers the flexibility to be located from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

In this role you will:

  • Deliver high standard engaging, training sessions, activities and assessments tailored to varying knowledge levels and technical needs.
  • Work with a high-performance team of dedicated professionals committed to training excellence and valuing the opinions of others.
  • Embrace continuous improvement of training courses and materials to effectively support Dealers, Customers and Penske Team Members in developing their skills with our product lines.
  • Ensure all participants meet the required technical standards and understand product specifications.
  • Have a willingness to travel regularly to facilitate training across our network in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Diligently document and report on training outcomes and assessments according to our records management practices.

About you:

  • Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Repair or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years' post-apprenticeship experience.
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAA/TAE) or a willingness to obtain.
  • Proven experience in heavy vehicle mechanical and electronic systems, with the ability to mentor others in technical skills.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office suite
