The Opportunity:
As the Quality Control/WHS Manager, you will placed in the Leadership Team to deliver the strategic approach for Quality Control and WHS to develop a resilient culture across all functions. With your expertise, your main role is to identify and implement strategic opportunities, insights, trends and you will be responsible for ensuring all of our internal controls and procedures and water tight to ensure all of our installations are completed with the upmost quality and safety, that we are known for.
50:50 Site & Smithfield office based, you will be required to conduct site visits that will entail accessing roof's and Electrical infrastructure on Commercial and Industrial job sites. Reporting to the general manager to run independent of the operations division.
Quality Control
- Creation and management/upkeep of company tech spec for installations of solar systems
- Create and police commissioning and testing processes/forms for QA and client handover
- Inspect and complete inspection report/tests for each milestone of all jobs.
- Issue defects if applicable to the projects team and ensure they are completed within a timely matter
- Audit job photos uploaded for each job before project manager provides weekly report to client.
- Provide monthly bulletin points for Trill newsletter.
- Provide/evaluate training to the overall installation Trill team on how to complete installations to the agreed tech spec.
- Review past projects on monitoring platform annually during the DLP period of every job.
- Update the incentive/deductions register when needed.
Health & Saftey
- Gain and maintain compliancy with CM3
- Ensure all necessary personal and business licenses are up to date and obtained and completed.
- Develop and enforce a WHS management plan per project, site specific and hand over to projects team.
- Integrate and management of a digitalized SWMS, JSA, WHS form suite to Simpro for all to use.
- Manage employee incidents that occur and ensure they are documented and necessary people are updated correctly.
- Manage client incidents or issues that occur and ensure they are documented and necessary people are updated correctly.
- Develop an internal training process and evaluation for new and existing staff members for all implementation of safety procedures and products.
- Manage safety equipment to ensure accounted for and compliant/in date. Including registers updated.
- Ensure all site inductions have been completed by all individuals where required on site.
- Audit of site safety management plans ensuring compliance on-site
- Management of PPE/uniform Register.
- Update the incentive/deductions register when needed.
Requirements
- Certified in the relevant WHS licenses/qualifications cert 4 in WHS ideally.
- Have construction background ideally but not essential electrical background industrial/commercial.
- Full Australian Driver Licence.
- Must be self managed, and work well within the leadership team.
- Willing to travel interstate and remote locations at times for site audits.
- Having character traits that sit in line with our core values, committed, consistent, and positive.
- Will need to travel and work at the office when not on site.
- Competent with Microsoft 365 suite & familiar with digital platforms for operations management.
