ABOUT OUR CLIENT AND THE ROLE

Our client is a leading non-for-profit organisation dedicated to driving positive change in our community. As part of their commitment to serving the needs of the community, they're seeking a Finance Administration Support Officer for a 3 month contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and customer information;
  • Update dashboards and track files;
  • Support finance with month-end procedures;
  • Chase-up outstanding contracts/documents, following up for any missing document on every assessment week;
  • Assist in getting additional information to update the reports;
  • Update Compliance Documents and answer contract management outreach calls;
  • Help to close off outstanding/open grant applications;
  • Reconcile GST for payment week;
  • Any other tasks as required

SKILLS & EXPERTISE

  • Possess at least 3 years experience within a similar role, and possess a diploma in Finance or similar;
  • Have advanced Excel skills and robust XERO experience;
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills;
  • Ability to prioritise work and multi-task as well as work both autonomously and within a team;
  • A keen eye for detail with data entry accuracy critical.
