About The Role:

Are you ready to elevate your career to the next level? Compare the Market is seeking a dynamic Learning and Development Manager to lead our organisational training efforts within our Contact Centre. In this role, you'll be responsible for devising and implementing a comprehensive training strategy that aligns with our business objectives. This includes identifying training needs, designing relevant programs, and assessing their impact on employee performance and loyalty.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contact centres, with experience in Health or General Insurance. This is a unique opportunity to shape the development and growth of our teams, driving our business forward with innovative and effective training strategies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Identify training needs through job analysis, career paths, performance appraisals, and consultations with line managers.
  • Draw up overall or individualised training and development plans that address needs and expectations.
  • Deploy a wide variety of training methods.
  • Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions.
  • Provide ongoing development opportunities for employees.
  • Assess training programs' effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically and report on them.
  • Oversee the training budget and ensure optimal allocation of resources.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure employees receive necessary training.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of training facilitators.
  • Mentor and develop training facilitators, providing constructive feedback and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Coordinate schedules and workloads of training facilitators to ensure effective delivery of training programs.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for training facilitators and regularly review their performance.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Relevant Qualifications such as Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or Bachelors Degree in Education, Human Resources, or a similar discipline.
  • Extensive experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience working with a contact centre environment.
  • Experience with the insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to devise and implement effective training strategies.
  • Strong ability to lead a team of training facilitators.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
