Your Impact

Actively provide support to the PMO and Project work stream leads by delivering accurate, timely and reliable financial information for operational decision support, enabling the site to develop and deliver their short and long-term ambitions.  

Provide strong business partnering to the business teams to increase their financial acumen and drive value through timely, insightful, and strategic support, while consistently delivering improvements in ways of working.

Provide analysis on financial tracking.

Implement and present clear financial reporting.

This is a 12-month fixed term contact role

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in business partnering project teams, providing financial counsel and value adding insights.
  • Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including month end reporting, mid-month forecasting, quarterly forecasting, and reduction in the duration of the budgeting process
  • Work with the Senior Finance Manager to develop financial processes aimed at improving the financial & operational control of business activities.
  • Be a key member of the PMO team to support & improve financial processes.
  • Work closely with the wider Group Finance team to ensure accurate accounting principles are in place.
  • Perform Month end transactions and reporting & ensure constant communication with the Finance Business partnering team on results, as well as recommendations to assist in achieving targets.

About You

Looking for an individual that is seeking an opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of business units and partner with the executive leads. Success in this role will come from an extensive career within the finance industry, a collaborative mind-set and the ability to work across multiple functions and stakeholder groups.  

  • Bachelor degree in the accounting or finance field is highly desirable
  • Professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA) and / or MBA qualification is preferred
  • Extensive experience within a finance role, ideally in the FMCG industry
  • Demonstrated experience in business partnering and change management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel and reporting
