Chandler Macleod has clients in the manufacturing industry seeking expressions of interest from experienced Factory Managers/Operations Managers to lead teams in delivering high-quality products to expanding client bases. Based in and around the Central Coast of NSW, these roles are ideal for proactive and motivated individuals with a strong background in leadership, budget management, business development in a manufacturing or production environment.

About the Role
The successful candidate will bring proven expertise in managing manufacturing or production operations. With excellent leadership skills, you will inspire and guide a dedicated team, ensuring that high standards for quality and efficiency are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and leadership to the Factory Team, including Measurers and Installers
  • Oversee scheduling, templating, production, and installation processes
  • Coordinate closely with Sales and Administration teams to fulfill customer needs
  • Supervise the Teams to maintain the highest product quality
  • Develop and implement systems that promote consistency, efficiency, and quality control
  • Ensure stock availability and efficiency in inventory management
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and building upkeep
  • Manage Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) compliance and promote a safe work environment
  • Maintain a clean and organised factory

About You

  • Demonstrated experience as a Factory or Operations Manager, ideally within the aluminum, gyprock, steel, glass or other building industries.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with an ability to train and motivate the team
  • Knowledgeable in OHS, quality control, productivity, and factory processes
  • Highly organised with excellent decision-making abilities
  • Familiarity with inventory management and workflow coordination
