Role Overview: We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Brand Manager to lead our private label portfolio through strategic brand planning, new category development, product innovation, management of existing product portfolio and driving execution of the brand strategies through Marketing, Operations and the Hairhouse store network. Reporting to the COO, the role is a key member of the leadership executive team, with the opportunity to develop into General Manager of the private label and exclusive brands business.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Brand Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive brand strategies to enhance market share and customer loyalty for our private label brands.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape insights to inform product development and positioning.
  • Product Innovation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and categories that align with consumer demands and brand values.
  • Marketing: Collaborate with marketing to execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, trial, and conversion.
  • Sales: Create impactful incentives and opportunities for Franchisees and staff to grow the brands.
  • Financial Performance: Ownership of the financial performance of Hairhouse’s private label and exclusive brands division.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor brand performance metrics and KPIs, adjusting strategies based on data-driven insights to ensure growth targets are met.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field,
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management (ideally in the private label space), new product development and project management with proven success of end to end delivery of NPD projects.
  • Experience managing a P&L and budgets.
  • Proven track record of successful brand launches and market growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills with experience in consumer insights and market research with the ability to make recommendations
  • Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in hair and beauty, FMCG, consumer goods highly regarded
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
