We are pleased to announce that Otraco has been awarded the Tyre Management Services Contract at Northern Star Resources Ltd’s Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines (KCGM) Operations, which commenced on 1st July 2024. This contract win is a significant milestone for Otraco’s WA Goldfields strategy, having delivered tyre management services to KCGM for over 20 years from 1999 to 2020, our team is looking forward to being back onsite to support KCGM’s operational success.
An exciting aspect of our mobilisation and return to KCGM will be recruiting local tyre fitters to join our team and the commencement of a Vocational Education Training (VET) training package with a local high school. We’re looking forward to developing long-term, valued relationships with the local Kalgoorlie community.
We are currently seeking Experienced Tyre Technicians for our KCGM operation in Kalgoorlie WA – must be residential
The role
Working in a team environment on a range of machinery, predominately CAT fleet 793’s
About you
- Preferably a minimum of 2 years of Earthmover tyre fitting experience on mine sites
- Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy; AUR21916/AUR21920 (essential)
- A current WorkSafe forklift (LF) licence
- Must have HR Drivers Licence
- Possess a high level of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
- An understanding that safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures
- Ability to work autonomously
