Blasting Technicians and Senior Blasting Technicians Wanted

About the RoleWe are currently seeking experienced Blasting Technicians and Senior Blasting Technicians to join our Technical Services team, primarily supporting Underground mining customers in Western Australia. These roles can be based in Kalgoorlie.
This position may involve occasional site visits, up to a maximum of 40%, to assist with technical projects at customer mine locations. The main focus of this role is to provide drill and blast design support, on-bench training of Orica products, deliver advanced technical projects, and ensure product stewardship for our mining and quarry customers.

Key Responsibilities- Blasting Projects: Assist the team in the execution of blasting-related projects on customer sites by utilizing Orica's advanced and cutting-edge blasting systems and technologies.
- Blasting Product Stewardship: Provide advanced-level blasting expertise and training on Orica's products to customer teams.
- Working Together: Form sustainable relationships with customer technical and operational teams.
- Blasting Solutions and Project Execution: Work alongside customer blasting teams to understand blasting problems and apply the correct blasting advice and assistance to deliver outstanding results.
- Continual Learning and Development: Attend blasting training sessions, seminars, and masterclasses with Orica's global Technical Services communities to enhance your skills and expertise.
- Blasting Technician or Senior Blasting Technician
- Experience as an underground operator, shotfirer, charge-up operator, MCU or Hypercharge operator
- TAE cert IV highly regarded but not essential
- Experience in using Electronic Blasting systems
