As Business Support Officer with the Procurement team and within the Finance Department you will be the first point-of-contact, providing high-level administrative support to the Procurement team in line with organisational, government and legislative obligations, and assistance in the development of processes to meet these requirements.
You will be responsible for opening contracts and providing relevant procurement and contracting templates to internal customers and consultants.
You are also responsible for uploading and overseeing Requests for Tender on Council’s e-Tendering portal (Vendor Panel); including the dissemination of forum questions and addenda during the Tender period, and managing the Tender closure for release to Contract Supervisor.
Other day to day tasks include:
Arranging electronic execution of contracts via DocuSign and editing support. Supporting the maintenance of Council's Contract Management Register (ACM) by entering contract data and ensuring records are kept up to date. Supporting the maintenance of the Procurement Intranet page, keeping information up to date with approved changes. Coordinating the flow of information from internal and external stakeholders in the Procurement mailbox and triage of queries from customer service and the public/suppliers, including sending registration information for Vendor Panel Raising requisitions and processing tax invoices, including allocating costs from other Business Units. Providing support to staff on the Procurement Policy and related procedures, and procurement systems.This is a permanent full time position with an annual salary range of $, - $, per annum + .5 % superannuation.
