Inclusive Employment Senior Advisor

The Suburban Connect consortium, comprising CPB Contractors, ACCIONA and Ghella, have been selected by the Victorian Government to deliver the first major tunnelling package on the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East project.

The package includes construction of a 16-kilometre section of the project’s twin tunnels, including tunnelling between Cheltenham and Glen Waverley, 55 safety cross passages between the tunnels, station boxes at Clayton and Monash and the construction of portals – the entrances and exits to the tunnels – at the stabling facility.

About the Opportunity:

Join our Social Impact team as we deliver a city shaping project and be part of a project that will leave a positive legacy on the Victorian community. 

As our project progresses and grows, we’re looking for a senior advisor level candidate experienced in delivery a wide range of inclusive employment programs including pre-employment programs and on-the-job support to new entrants onto the project and into the construction industry.

As the Inclusive Employment Senior Advisor you will:

Be able to self-motivate, be organised and manage competing priorities. Communicate effectively to a range of stakeholders including referral organisations, education institutions, construction managers and subcontractors. Collaborate across project functions including construction, procurement, environment and social teams. Influence, negotiate and manage stakeholders to deliver social impact outcomes on projects. Design, deliver and on-going management of Cadet Program. Support design, delivery and on-going management of a range of pre-employment programs. Provide post-placement support to both individuals and their direct managers/supervisors. Deliver a range of trainings to both employees and their managers/supervisors (wide range of topics). Critically think to identify key opportunities and risks. Have a tertiary qualification, discipline flexible. Be adaptable to manage a constantly changing workplace as we deliver complex infrastructure projects.

Essential experience:

Experience in delivering online and face-to-face training for entry-level employees to Senior Managers Experience working with priority jobseekers Extremely familiar with all policies that relate to Social Impact in Victoria

Desirable expertise includes:

Experience working in the community and/or not-for-profit sector
