About the Role:

As a Care Team Leader at Anglicare At Home, you will lead a dedicated team of Care Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centered home care services. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer service, fostering a positive team culture, and maintaining compliance with our Christian values and care

Care Team Leader, Inner West/ Strathfield and Parramatta

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead and support Care Workers, providing direct care when needed, and ensuring outstanding, person-centered care in line with our Rhythm of Life principles.

  • Team Development: Cultivate a culture of exceptional customer service, providing coaching and feedback to staff, managing performance, and supporting their development.

  • Operational Management: Oversee accurate documentation, timely reporting, staff scheduling, and client record management. Address client changes and concerns promptly.

  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to organizational policies, Aged Care Standards, and safety protocols. Manage risks, report incidents, and promote safe work practices.

  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of quality processes and systems, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or higher in Aged Care/Community Services or equivalent.

  • Experience in community-based aged care services and previous team leadership roles.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in systems and technology applications.
