Our client is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join their restaurant located in Melton West. As a Restaurant Manager you will oversee the daily operations of their restaurant, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. You will also be responsible for maintaining high service and operational standards, managing staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a blend of strong organisational skills, effective leadership, and a passion for hospitality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with chefs to plan and design menus
  • Coordinate and organize special events or functions
  • Manage purchasing and pricing within budget constraints
  • Maintain detailed records of inventory and financial transactions
  • Ensure dining areas comply with health regulations and are clean and visually appealing
  • Gather customer feedback to assess satisfaction with meals and service
  • Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen and wait staff
  • Assist with reservations, greet guests, and help with order-taking as needed.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality Management
  • At least one (1) year of relevant experience as a Restaurant Manager.
