About Our Client

Our client is a global mining giant, who is very progressive in their way of working and very people-focused in their approach.

Job Description

  • Change Management:

- Oversee change management initiatives, providing direction and guidance to ensure the successful execution of the program.

  • Technical Writing:

- Create and update documentation related to change management processes, and procedures (there will be resources and templates to support this).

  • Communication:

- Engage with stakeholders on all levels to collect feedback, address concerns, and ensure project objectives are met.
- Collaborate with the communications specialist to develop and implement communication plans tailored to various stakeholders, ensuring transparency and engagement throughout the change process.

  • Project Support:

- Identifying change impacts, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions to enhance change management capabilities within the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience as a Change Manager, ideally in the mining or heavy industry sector, within a safety-related project would be hugely advantageous.
  • Technical writing skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts.
  • Demonstrated expertise in workforce consultation, effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders to achieve consensus and buy-in.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
