The Digital Division, of a large QLD Government Owned Corporation, requires the services of an experienced Change Manager for their Enterprise Intelligence platform. The requirement is for the Change Manager to develop and implement a people focused change management plan that will achieve an effective implementation and embedding of the new data, reporting and analytic solution within the organisation.
Technical Requirements
Develop and manage the detailed change plan / schedule as an integrated part of the project plan;
Deliver all elements of the stakeholder analysis, change and training needs analysis and planning, communications;
Develop a business readiness action plan that addresses the identified impacts and delivers outcomes for the initiative;
Assess and determine business and implementation readiness at various stages of the project lifecycle;
Collaborate with GM Sponsors and other business stakeholders to effectively identify, prioritise and manage change impacts and to ensure the right engagement is occurring to support readiness objectives;
Work with the Platform and Program Manager to proactively identify and own change related risks / issues and prepare mitigation plans for them; and
Prepare the reporting of the change management activities summary for the Project Executive Steering committee and other audiences.
To ensure a consistent and seamless change experience for our people:
Coordinate the delivery of the identified change and readiness activities;
Ensure that the holistic view of change exists for lifespan of the project;
Drive and support the development of change artefacts to support the project release/s;
Demonstrate a personal commitment to health, safety and environment and support a diverse and inclusive workplace; and
Compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, procedures and practices.
Essential Criteria
Degree qualification in Human Resources or related discipline, or practitioner certification in a recognised change management framework with 5 or more years' experience leading organisational changes in large complex organisations;
Extensive experience building relationships, influencing, coaching and facilitating constructive conversations that challenge the status quo and promote adoption of new behaviours, mindsets and practices;
Extensive experience leading a team to deliver change outcomes at a program stream level;
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders;
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and tactically, translate complexity to simplicity to develop practical, integrated and sustainable change plans; and
High level presentation and communication skills, including written and verbal, to a wide and diverse target audience.
Desirable Criteria
Prior experience managing the organisational change impacts of implementing a new enterprise cloud data and analytics platform; and
Experience managing organisational changes delivered using both a waterfall and agile approach.
Duration
6 months contract with option to extend.
Reporting Structure
The role will report to the Delivery Support Capability Lead.
