About the role
UGL's Manufacturing & Maintenance business is currently looking for a Document Controller to join the Quality team. This role will be offered as a fixed term of 6 months full-time basis and based at our maintenance & manufacturing facility in Broadmeadow, Newcastle.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the role will ensure the accurate control of Project specific and site documentation, following document control procedures, compiling, scanning, reviewing, and archiving documentation in accordance with project requirements, conducting regular reviews and document audits.
Key responsibilities;
· Compiling of quality documents and packs of documents utilising computer software packages such as SAP, SharePoint Microsoft Office – MS Word and Excel
· Responsible for the control of Project Documentation in relation to Technical Documentation, Administrative Files, Contract Files, and Procurement Files.
· Scanning and archiving of correspondence and various project documentation.
· Ensure compliance with all record keeping requirements.
· Undertake any adhoc projects, initiatives, tasks as directed by the Quality Manager.
About you
· Business administration qualification desired or previous years of experience in a similar role
· Demonstrated high level administration skills.
· Strong experience using SharePoint or similar platform for document control
· Intermediate experience with Microsoft applications
· Experience with SAP is desirable, but not essential.
· Previous Document Control experience
