In this role, you’ll join a skilled IT Desktop Support team, managing and maintaining our computing systems and office infrastructure. This role is based in Brisbane, Australia (HQ). At Entain AUS & NZ, we value a flexible work environment and support a hybrid working model, allowing employees to spend two days a week at the office, ensuring work-life balance and individual preferences. 


Your day-to-day... 

  • Provide professional, timely, and effective IT support including software, hardware, and network support; as well as the identification and resolution of IT troubleshooting activities.
  • Deliver high-level customer service, which is proactive, cooperative and dependable by understanding user requirements and developing rapport with clients.
  • Basic logistic operations of procuring IT equipment for on-site and remote users with direction.
  • Hardware management, tracking.
  • Assist in the maintenance of desktop support methodologies and practices.
  • Maintain user accounts and configure appropriate access controls.
  • Maintain physical access cards and security card programming.
  • Other duties as directed by the Desktop Support Team Lead.

What you'll bring... 

  • Demonstrated experience of working in an IT Helpdesk and/or Managed IT Service environment is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage incidents and requests in a Windows and Mac environment to a high level.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Windows deployment methodology and deployment technologies (SCCM, network boot).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of core Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory (Azure and on-prem).
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contribute to a culture of teamwork and take shared responsibility for achieving results.
  • Ability to work Saturday shifts on a rotation (TOIL provided).
  • Ability to work on-call roster for after-hours support.
