Project description

We've been engaged by a large Australian financial institution to provide resources to their upcoming Murex Binary Upgrade project .
This Bank is considering moving from Current Murex version 42 to latest higher version ( V56 or 58) to include changes Majorly impacting the Collateral / Market Risk /Ops and settlement functionalities and modules
There are also some impacts in MX technical areas , Reporting and EODs.
We require an experienced Murex senior Collateral consultant as a part of this upgrade project.

Responsibilities

Understanding the requirements and providing design & solution for user requirements

Building Collateral configuration and workflows as per the design

Interacting with users for design and signoffs

Documentation of the changes

Working with a Testing team to review test cases, coverage and investigate any issue they encounter.

Interact with the user base and interface between Business and IT with respect to Murex.

Follow up with Murex as and when necessary to resolve bugs, issues.

The role will require a strong financial markets background across a range of asset classes. The position will work closely with the existing Luxoft delivery team and face off to the business & client technology functions.

Skills

Must have

7+ years of relevant experience

Understanding of Legal Agreements (CSA/GMRA)

Understanding of Collateral stamping (including Murex setup)

Experience with MLC (Murex Limits Controller) for Collateral Exposure calculation

Back Office  knowledge: 

Understanding of Margin Calls/Expected Margin calls and EOD scripts

Collateral Exchange workflow (or at minimum MxML)

Collateral inventory and Allocation process

Exposure to the below will be an advantage:

Interest statements

Collateral exchange accounting

Knowledge on LRB creation and LTS scripts

Exposure to margining payments

Nice to have

Ability to deal with multitude of stakeholders
