Project description

We've been engaged by a large Australian financial institution to provide resources to their upcoming Murex Binary Upgrade project .
This Bank is considering moving from Current Murex version 42 to latest higher version ( V56 or 58) to include changes Majorly impacting the Collateral / Market Risk /Ops and settlement functionalities and modules
There are also some impacts in MX technical areas , Reporting and EODs.
We require an experienced Murex senior Collateral consultant as a part of this upgrade project.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding the requirements and providing design & solution for user requirements
  • Building Collateral configuration and workflows as per the design
  • Interacting with users for design and signoffs
  • Documentation of the changes
  • Working with a Testing team to review test cases, coverage and investigate any issue they encounter.
  • Interact with the user base and interface between Business and IT with respect to Murex.
  • Follow up with Murex as and when necessary to resolve bugs, issues.
    The role will require a strong financial markets background across a range of asset classes. The position will work closely with the existing Luxoft delivery team and face off to the business & client technology functions.

SKILLS

Must have

  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of Legal Agreements (CSA/GMRA)
  • Understanding of Collateral stamping (including Murex setup)
  • Experience with MLC (Murex Limits Controller) for Collateral Exposure calculation
  • Back Office knowledge:
  • Understanding of Margin Calls/Expected Margin calls and EOD scripts
  • Collateral Exchange workflow (or at minimum MxML)
  • Collateral inventory and Allocation process
  • Exposure to the below will be an advantage:
    o Interest statements
    o Collateral exchange accounting
    o Knowledge on LRB creation and LTS scripts
    o Exposure to margining payments
