City Presentation delivers a range of services that provide clean, well-presented public spaces in the Penrith Local Government Area. Comprising over 200 qualified and driven staff, areas of opportunity for employment include civil construction and works, horticulture and landscaping, fleet management and workshop servicing, trades and public cleansing and maintenance.

About the Role
We are currently seeking a Skilled Field Operator - Driver to join our Signage team on a permanent full-time basis within our Cross City Services team. In this role, you will undertake all duties associated with the safe driving of Council vehicles, minor plant and transport of persons, equipment and materials, and assist with general labouring and other duties, including the maintenance and installation of signage and relevant line marking, throughout the Penrith LGA.
This position operates on a 76-hour fortnight with a Rostered Day Off once a fortnight and requires a commitment to ongoing training, flexibility and multiskilling within the Public Spaces Maintenance area to develop and maintain the required skills and competencies of the position.
Essential Criteria
Current MR driver licence Knowledge of all aspects of operation and maintenance of trucks, vans and trailers including loading, securing and unloading (both mechanical and manual means) Competencies in the use of various items of small plant including post hole rammer, core drill, auger and jack pick and general labouring duties Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White) CardDesirable Criteria
Working understanding of Australian Standards regarding signage Ability to utilise Mobility technology (iPad/tablet)Commencing salary: $61,251 per annum, plus 11% Superannuation and an Adverse Working Conditions Allowance in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
