About your team
The WAPHA Clinical Insights team is a quality focused and passionate team of GP Clinical Editors and Coordinators who operate the Clinician Assist WA (previously HealthPathways WA) website. Clinician Assist is an online clinical support tool available to GPs and other health professionals providing care to patients in Western Australia. It delivers clear and concise guidance for assessing, managing, and referring patients across WA. Since 2015, the Clinical Insights team has proudly developed over 650 pathways for clinicians to use during patient consults and the number of new & returning users continues to grow.
About the role
Join our experienced team as a Program Coordinator and contribute to the success of the Clinician Assist WA program. In this crucial role, you will collate, publish and maintain referral information on the Clinician Assist WA website for GPs to use at the point of care. You will collaborate with GP Clinical Editors to support the concurrent development and review of clinical website content and work with internal and external stakeholders to maximise website uptake and engagement through the delivery of promotional and educational activities.
This role is offered on a full-time, ongoing basis with the flexibility to work both from home and in the office.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Engage with WA service providers to gather and update referral information on Clinician Assist WA.
- Provide operational support to GP Clinical Editors, including organising clinical working groups.
- Promote the use and uptake of Clinician Assist WA by:
- Writing articles/content for internal and external communications.
- Preparing for and delivering educational activities in collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
- Participating in conferences and events on behalf of Clinician Assist WA.
- Respond to stakeholder queries/feedback, providing excellent customer service.
- Develop and maintain operational relationships with key stakeholders on behalf of Clinician Assist WA.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to record keeping procedures.
- Undertake administrative duties, including chairing meetings, minute-taking, reviewing procedures and contributing to reporting requirements.
About you
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following selection criteria:
Essential experience and education
- A tertiary qualification in health, human services, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data entry.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the WA health system, with an understanding of or experience in primary health care.
- Familiarity with clinical or healthcare terminology.
- Experience in content creation, procedure development, or contributing to written publications, promotional or educational resources (highly regarded).
