The procurement team is responsible for the strategic sourcing of all goods and services for the delivery of our wind energy solutions.
With a cross functional team of stakeholders, we strategically develop supplier partnerships to enable sustainable growth and drive value for our customers.

You will be part of a highly dynamic and diverse team that is driven by Vestas' Values (Passion, Collaboration, Accountability and Simplicity) and is excited about the prospects of renewable energy in the region and our purpose to combat climate change.

This newly created role will form part of a growing team working on strategic sourcing across a portfolio of wind projects, from early sales engagement to final project execution.

Responsibilities

Drive the sourcing process for tactical and operational project requirements Assist with commercial contract negotiations and development of commercial strategies Build supply market intelligence and participate in supplier development activities Provide insights and track metrics on holistic supplier performance to assist with bid evaluation Develop collaborative data driven tools to enhance Vestas' supplier relationship effectiveness

Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, law or finance Solid business acumen and a passion for the energy industry Exposure to an ERP (SAP/Ariba) is desirable but not essential

Competencies

Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills Ability to work with various types of numerical data Advanced MS Office skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Initiative and creativity in finding solutions Sociable and communicative approach
