This is an ideal opportunity to join a corporate environment where you will be involved in a variety of office tasks and play a key and central role in supporting our Melbourne office.
**Some of the things you will be involved with on a daily basis include**:
- Basic administration and accounts processes
- Assisting with meeting and function set up and pack up
- Attending to external rounds involving the lodgement of documents at various Court and Government Departments and banking
- Maintaining stationery and kitchen stock levels
- Assisting our Front Desk Coordinator with client and staff events
- Closing and archiving legal files
- Relief reception and telephone duties
- Assisting our team of legal administrative assistants with overflow tasks
Don’t worry if all of that doesn’t makes sense to you, we provide excellent on the job training for all duties involved in your role with us You will report into an experienced and supportive Office Services Manager who is looking to mentor and grow a junior member of the team.
Our culture is all about collaboration, beyond the Office Services team you will work with the Information Technology, People & Development, Business Development & Marketing departments as well as our specialised legal teams - we are five offices but one team
**About you**
This role is not about qualifications but your ability to demonstrate customer service, problem solving, collaborating with others and a desire to learn new tasks. To get you off to a successful start you will need to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a customer service/office environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sound technological skills including MS Office suite and other office systems/equipment
- A proactive approach to problem solving and initiative
- A willingness to be flexible and engage in a wide variety of tasks
