Gantiel is one of Australia’s largest importers, distributors, and manufacturers of engineering plastic materials and components. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and driven Sales Account Manager to join our professional sales team at our Wetherill Park office. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and fluid work environment, then this is opportunity is for you. As a primary objective, you will be responsible for maintaining our existing long-term, customer relationships and secondary to that, developing and acquiring new business. The successful candidate will be a hands-on individual with a “can-do attitude”, a passion for success, and an ambition to grow within the organisation.

Qualifications & experience

• Proven work experience as a Sales account manager or Sales account executive

• Understanding of sales performance metrics

• Commercial selling, negotiation, and objection-handling skills with a strong understanding of the sales process

• Proficiency in technical solution selling

• Engineering background/knowledge is desirable but not essential

• Experience in the Engineering Plastics industry is desirable but not essential

• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• B2B Sales Experience essential

Tasks & responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of key accounts

• Acting as a point of contact for customers

• Understanding client needs and visions

• Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

• Liaising with internal sales and production departments to respond to customer enquiries and execute sales orders

• Maintaining an up-to-date CRM system to manage and track existing client base and new leads. HubSpot experience is desirable but not essential

• Equip customers with in-depth product knowledge, empowering them to make informed choices across a wide variety of markets

• Keep a sharp eye on the competition, providing valuable insights and strategic intelligence to our management team
