About The Role

Reporting into the GM of Compliance & Enablement, we are looking for a Compliance & Privacy Manager to join our Legal, Risk & Compliance team to support ongoing compliance with applicable obligations and effective privacy risk management at Sportsbet.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing privacy policies and procedures, conducting Privacy Impact Assessments, managing privacy incidents, and providing guidance and advice to the business on privacy related matters.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead and support ongoing compliance with applicable privacy laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Develop and implement privacy policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to privacy obligations and best practice.
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and provide recommendations for mitigating privacy risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy considerations into business processes, products, and services.
  • Stay abreast of developments in privacy laws and regulations, assess their impact on the organisation, and provide guidance on compliance requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for privacy-related inquiries from regulators, customers, and Sportsbet team members.
